How to Get API Auth Tokens

BestSMS SMS API uses the HTTP Authorization Header with the BASIC keyword for authentication. Follow these steps to copy your authentication token:

1. Login to BestSMS

   • Go to https://my.bestsms.au.
     
     

2. Navigate to Users

   • Select [Users] from the menu.
     
     

3. Select the User

   • Click on the user from the table for whom you want to generate an API key.
     
     

4. Enable API Access

   • Ensure that [Enable API] is toggled on.
     • If not, follow these sub-steps:
       1. Click the [Edit/Modify] button.
       2. Toggle the [Enable API] button.
       3. Toggle the [Auth Token] button.
       4. Click [Create Auth Token] to generate the Auth Token.

5. Copy the Auth Token

   • Click the [Copy] button to copy your auth token to your clipboard.
     
     
     
     

6. Save the Auth Token

   • Open your text editor and paste the copied content. You will see your auth token there.
