How to maintain opt-out lists from the Web Dashboard

BestSMS automatically manages opt-out lists whenever a customer replies to your message with the keywords "STOP" or "OPTOUT." However, you may need to manually add or remove numbers from these lists to ensure compliance with customer preferences. Follow the steps below to maintain your opt-out lists via the BestSMS Web Dashboard.

Accessing the Opt-Out List

  1. Login to the BestSMS Web Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Service Settings

    • Click on [Service Settings] in the main menu.

  3. Go to Opt-Out List (Outbound)

    • From the left-hand menu, select [Opt-out List (Outbound)].

Adding a Number to the Opt-Out List

  1. Click [+ Create]

    • To add a new opt-out mobile number, click the [+ Create] button.

  2. Enter the Mobile Number

    • Input the mobile number that you want to add to the opt-out list.

  3. Save the Number

    • Click [Save] to add the number to your opt-out list.

Deleting a Number from the Opt-Out List

  1. Find the Mobile Number

    • Locate the mobile number you wish to remove from the opt-out list by searching the table.

  2. Select the Record

    • Click on the record corresponding to the mobile number.

  3. Edit and Delete

    • Click [Edit] to open the record. At the top of the screen, you will see a [Delete] button.
    • Click [Delete] to remove the number from the opt-out list.
